Making Money Online Without Building A Website

When I talk to friends and family about the money-making potential of the internet, the first response I almost always get is "I barely know how to use email, there is no way I can build a website." But the truth be told these days you don't have to know HTML to build a website, in fact if you know how to cut and paste and use a word processor then you can build a website. But to them this seems to be too much of a daunting task, and the idea of a web host is a foreign language to them. So I set out in search of ways to prove to them that they can make money on the internet even without a website of their own.

There seems to be a lot of people that have felt this way because my search has turned up a lot of ways that someone can make money without a website of their own. In fact, I was a little surprised by it myself! Their are countless programs available that you can purchase that will set up, maintain, and host a website for you. The only thing that you have to worry about is getting the word out. But a lot of times these programs can be expensive to start up, and the idea of having to market the site will turn off a lot of the true internet rookies.

Then there is the option of email marketing. You don't have to have a website to send out emails. But there is still a problem with this because it isn't always easy to get a good email list. In today's world, spam is hated with a passion. In fact, spam is illegal and you can get in lot of trouble for it. So in order to get around this an internet marketer has to build a list that members have voluntarily signed up for and are given the option to unsubscribe at any time. Even with a list, the marketer is still not guaranteed success. Email marketing is more of an art form than a business. The marketer has to build a relationship with his/her list members, and write great (not good) emails that will show them the benefits of a product and how it will make their life easier. Chances are their is a lot of competition where several people are trying to sell the same product, so if the marketer is not much better than the next one then he/she is going to have problems making sales.

Another option would be direct linking using Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC). Even when I say the word "pay-per-click" most people get the most dumbfounded look on their faces. And then I run a search on any of the top search engines like Google and I get a "Oh, that's what that is". Direct linking is a viable option, but the competition on PPC is fierce. And if the marketer doesn't get into a product early enough they will have to have some sort of web domain to display in the PPC ad. Because in search engines like Google, only 2 people can use the products actual web domain, the product owner and 1 affiliate. So even if you don't have to build an actual site for direct linking, you still need a web domain to display in the Ad.

And then there is even a newer system that is popping up. A system for making money online that doesn't require a website, a product, or even a huge mailing list. You can include your link in your everyday emails, in signatures on forums and/or blogs, or anywhere else. This is probably one of the easiest systems that I have found for making money without a website, and the system developers give you step-by-step instructions on how to make the most out of it. Now this is a system that I would recommend to a friend or family member who wants to make a couple extra bucks because there is little more to do than just posting a single link.

So there are ways of getting in on the money train that the internet has become without having to web designer or marketing guru. Obviously, if you are really serious about making a living online, then it would be in your best interest to do some more research. There are truly unlimited ways to make multiple streams of income without have to spend every waking minute online.
